Mr. Edgardo Kabulwa Welelo, a freelance professional naturalist guide, writer, tourism educator, global business entrepreneur and investor. The idea of establishing Udzungwa Mountains College came after the successful study tour (Educational trip) organized by himself for his tour guide students to visit Udzungwa Mountains National Park, located in south-central Tanzania.
