The management and staff of the Udzungwa Mountains College Trust (UMCTO) in Moshi Municipality – Kilimanjaro Region, does not receive cash in hand at all and by any means, and instead, all payments – including money for a registration form, professional courses, study tours, or any assistance of money to support the college projects from our friends and development stakeholders/partners should be paid through college bank facilities, and the general public should be aware and understand that the college operates only two bank accounts namely KENYA COMMERCIAL BANK (KCB) & NATIONAL BANK OF COMMERCE (NBC) respectively.

Please, bring us your bank slip after making your payments and you will be given the college receipt of your hard-earned money. It is strictly prohibited and illegal as well as risk-taking to pay your money via the personal savings account/M-Pesa. No matter the person in the management of the Udzungwa Mountains College Trust (UMCTO) is Managing Director, College Principal, College Accountant, Public Relations Manager, etc. We are all guided and ruled by the college constitution/Trust Deed. The management and staff of the Udzungwa Mountains College Trust (UMCTO) will not be responsible for any complaints from sponsors, guardians, parents, or college students at large regarding this matter.

Professionally and truly speaking, Tour Guides/Safari Guides/Tour Manager/Tour Directors/Tour Leaders (are found nearly every region of the world and specialize in a wide variety of subject areas, so it is difficult to establish a curriculum that is appropriate for all guides. Topics of study or study units could be categorized in the ways as follows;

1. History & Pre-history, Geography, People and Culture, Religion and Government etc.
2. Those subjects that are relevant to all guides anywhere around the world (see and read our course curriculum (sample) as mentioned earlier. On top of that subjects related to Mammals, Birds, Trees & Plants, Reptiles and Amphibians, Invertebrates and many more are highly recommended;

1. CERTIFIED  CERTIFICATE;

• A certificate of  Secondary Education with 4  Passes (D)  and above excluding religious subjects.

2. ORDINARY   DIPLOMA;

• An Advanced  Certificate  of  Secondary  Education  with  at least two Subsidiary  and above  OR
• A Certificate  of  NTA  Level 4

Full Amount Tshs 2,100,000/= 1yr & 6 months

Course fees cover – Learning materials, binoculars, uniforms, books, birdsong CDs, Foreign language materials, camera, laptops & iPods, counter books & pens, and many more as per the particular field of study.

Full Amount Tshs 3,000,000/= 2.5 yrs

Course fees cover – Learning materials, binoculars, uniforms, books, birdsong CDs, Foreign language materials, camera, laptops & iPods, counter books & pens, and many more as per the particular field of study.

Full Amount Tshs 1,050.000/= 9 month
