INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGES

The management and staff of the Udzungwa Mountains College Trust (UMCTO) in Moshi Municipality – Kilimanjaro Region, does not receive cash in hand at all and by any means, and instead all payments – including money for registration form, professional courses, study tours, or any assistance of money to support the college projects from our friends and development stakeholders/partners should be paid through college bank facilities, and general public should be aware and understand that the college operates only two bank accounts namely KENYA COMMERCIAL BANK (KCB) & NATIONAL BANK OF COMMERCE (NBC) respectively.

Please, bring us your bank slip after making your payments and you will be given the college receipt of your hard – earned money. It is strictly prohibited and illegal as well as risk taking to pay your money via the personal savings account/M-Pesa. No matter the person in the management of the Udzungwa Mountains College Trust (UMCTO) is Managing Director, College Principal, College Accountant, Public Relations Manager, etc. We are all guided and ruled by the college constitution/Trust Deed. The management and staff of the Udzungwa Mountains College Trust (UMCTO) will not be responsible for any complaints from sponsors, guardians, parents or college students at large regarding this matter.

• How are your communication skills? In almost any career you may decide upon, you will have a distinct advantage if you have a strong ability to express yourself in written and spoken English. It is the language the world conducts business in, after all. You will learn about the use of language in both the past and present and explore how language is used in various situations. Your course will cover the following modules;

• Textual Commentary.
• Desk study.
• The language of the media.
• Varieties of English.
• Spoken or written study.
• Editorial and Language Topics.

2. FRENCH

• In the current climate of corporate globalization, a second language will not only be an asset to you in the career market but may well be a necessity in the future. Studying a foreign language is fun, and UMCTO language courses have been designed so that you get plenty of conversational practice. You will also receive FREE AUDIO cassettes or CDs with your study pack when you enroll. Your course will cover the following modules;
• Young People Today.
• Aspects of Society.
• People and Society.
• Contemporary Issues.
• The Cultural and Social Language in focus.
• Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

3. OTHER INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGES

• Includes, Spanish, German, Italian, and so many others.

1. CERTIFIED  CERTIFICATE;

• A certificate of  Secondary Education with 4 Passes (D)  and above excluding religious subjects.

2. ORDINARY   DIPLOMA;

• An Advanced  Certificate  of  Secondary  Education  with  at least two Subsidiary  and above  OR
• A Certificate  of  NTA  Level 4

Full Amount Tshs 600000/= 6 months

Course fees cover – Learning materials, binoculars, uniforms, books, birdsong CDs, Foreign language materials, camera, laptops & iPods, counter books & pens, and many more as per the particular field of study.

Full Amount Tshs 1,200,000/= 1yr
